  • Cozy corner away from the Tsukiji bustle and an even more charming owner to walk you through the menu and his passion for pepper. We came because they showed up on Google maps early in the AM as open for brekkie. And it didn’t disappoint! We ordered a couple sandwiches and coffee. Based on another reviewer I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was excellent. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Tokyo and need an early morning breakfast sandwich, highly recommend the BLT which is made with a thick slab of ham instead of bacon. Everything was seasoned to perfection and definitely made with love.

  • Tsukiji Peppers Cafe is a gem! Their unique focus on peppercorns elevates every dish and drink. I had an incredible pizza with clam, chorizo, and raw salted peppercorns—bursting with flavor. The in-house cola, made from natural syrup, was a refreshing delight. The owner is super cool, giving us an engaging intro to the business that added to the experience. Everything was delicious, and the passion for quality shines through. Highly recommend!

  • Found them by chance while exploring the Tsukiji outdoor market area. Didn't get to try any of their food here, but we did come back twice on different days to have their drinks which were very interesting with the addition of crushed peppercorns. The owners are both very friendly and helpful with plenty of stories and information about what they do. Will visit again the next time i'm back in Tokyo!

  • The owner and his partner are seriously the nicest people and were so entertaining with their stories and explanations of the peppers. We had to buy the peppers to bring back home b/c they were so good, unlike anything I’ve used as a seasoning before. The iced Vietnamese coffee, iced green tea and the iced cola were also perfectly made and refreshing. The breakfast toasts and the pizza were well executed and provided a great start to the day, super convenient that they open early unlike so many breakfast places in Tokyo.

  • The staff here is super friendly and serves delicious food no matter what you order. The black peppers are their specialty and it tastes amazing, as does their cola. It’s a small space so good to have patience while waiting for a seat or if with a group, as it’s a popular spot.

  • We had breakfast at Tsukiji Peppers Café, and it was such a unique and memorable experience! They serve an amazing tea from Sri Lanka, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The peppers are incredibly fresh — they literally pop and explode in your mouth with unbelievable taste! You can really feel the depth of the spices in every bite. The host is absolutely wonderful — so friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what he serves. He makes every guest feel at home and takes time to share the story behind the flavors, which made the experience even more special. I even bought some peppers as souvenirs for my family because I know they’ll love them as much as I did. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tsukiji! Hi from your friend in Saudi Arabia! ????????

  • This is quite a special place amongst a plethora of restaurants in this area. Despite all the changes this is still a working market and the whole purpose of this cafe is to front for spice importing business specializing in - you guessed it - pepper. The owners are really friendly and wel coming and highlight their spice business in the food offering of mainly open sandwiches and pizzas. They also serve the local shift workers and the cafe doubles as a bar for night workers as they head home. Google maps hasn't quite got the firectoons clear so look for a couple of signs in the alleyway and keep going. It's well worth the effort to persist and find this little gem.

  • They serve very good sandwiches and coffee. Good place for breakfast and lunch. Run by 2 ladies, the cafe is not easy to locate....it took us a little while to find it. We are glad we did.
